Divorce is devastating, but when the feelings of betrayal, shame, guilt, and condemnation are added to the fear of getting divorced over the age of 50 you have a life of brokenness that seems impossible to repair. There was nothing complicated about what she wanted for her life. Sharon wanted the family she never had. She struggled to find direction, balance, and self-worth. Specifically, Sharon developed her relationship with God. She began to understand how her beliefs, thoughts and actions contributed to her relationships and her divorce. This has given her victory through her faith in God, and the grace God provides for us.
